We'll start with Emma Watson, after all she bagged the Elle Style Icon award, so we're expecting big things! We're pleased to say she didn't disappoint. Taking a different stance from a lot of the maxi dresses seen (and a fair few midis, we have to say), she donned a beautiful blush-coloured mini dress, designed by Hakaan. We love how daring the dress is, not only with the (very) short length but the cut-out waist detailing. To complete the look, her slick hair looked fantastic. A style icon, indeed!

Next up is Blake Lively's offering. Looking absolutely stunning in Emilio Pucci, the colour of this gown speaks volumes! We adore the electric blue, and next to Blake's gorgeous tanned skin, it looks a complete dream. The dress was awash with chiffon tiers, and had a slight train at the back reaching up to a shorter front (to show off her enviable legs!). Her hair and jewellery added a touch of boho with lots of gold bangles and a half up-do.

We're not sure what to make of Pixie Geldof's look. When we first saw her loud, purple and cream print, backless dress we were slightly aghast, but now we're kinda feeling it. Designed by Henry Holland, it was teamed with black platforms, dark red lips and hairstyle-of-the-moment, the bun. So, undecided!

Our fave outfit of the night though, goes to Alexa Chung. Perhaps an obvious choice, but we ADORED her YSL creation. With a nod to the 70s, the black and blue midi dress, complete with cut-out waist, looked super on presenter of the awards, Alexa. Accessorised with simple black stilettos and minimal jewellery, she carried the look off perfectly. Oh, how we heart Alexa!
